Why Juan built PICKD

Our founder Juan Nino worked inside restaurants before he built software for them. He managed teams, served tables, and opened two of his own food ventures in Stamford, CT. When he saw restaurant owners paying 30% commissions to delivery apps while getting zero customer data back, he built something different.

PICKD is the answer to that problem — a local delivery network that charges a flat fee and gives you back the customer relationship. No middleman owning your audience.
